Since last year I started with the online modality, in my career has brought many challenges. For example in subjects that are practical such as instrument, orchestra and camera music. The online mode has been difficult as the sound is obviusly not as clear as it is in reality. So teachers have implemented different ways of teaching the class, for example only teach theoretical things at class time and at another time send a video of yourself playing your instrument.  In a way it is clearer to send a video to get a better sound, however it has been more difficult for me because I want the video to be perfect. Then for any failure I start recording again.  The truth is that the theoretical subjects have not been difficult for me to understand. Only sometimes there are certain obstacles, like the internet connection is not always stable.   When I was a child I liked to play with my cousins as if I was the teacher. I remember I had a small whiteboard, and from there I liked to teach them different subjects.  So for me it was like a dream to be a teacher when I grew up. I liked the idea of working with children, being able to teach new things to see the progress of each child, among other things.  Years have passed, different things caught my attention. For example music. I was introduced to the bassoon and I really loved it. I started to learn more about this wonderful instrument. And finally I decided to study a career related to music, specifically the bassoon. Although I could also relate what I study to my dream of teaching. I would love to teach bassoon in the future. And then my dream would come true.  I like all the jobs where you can see progress in people. Like teachers teaching and health professionals seeing the patient recovering. I really admire the work of doctors, nurses, kinesiologists...

Definitely being born in the 2000's means knowing about technological devices from a young age, such as televisions, radios. And when I was growing up I was getting to know new technological devices, such as computers, cellular phones and more modern.  I think my favourite piece of technology is the cell phone, because nowadays in pandemic it has become very useful for me. The cell phone helps me to communicate with my family, friends and my university classmates, also for my career I use it to record videos playing bassoon and send the videos from the same device. Before the pandemic when the classes were face to face in my career, it was not necessary to have so much technological equipment. For example, to interpret scores, it´s clearer for me to have them printed, so that I can write on paper some things that the teacher tells me.  My best vacation was when I had the study tour. We went to south of Chile and Argentina.  It was in 2016. We had a lot of fun activities. We first went to Puerto Varas where we visit  ´Lago de todos los santos´and we sailed by motor boat, we also went to ´Saltos del Petrohué´. These places are really beautifull,  both with a view of the Osorno volcano. We also visited ´Frutillar´ with a view of Lake Llanquihue. I remember that we also visited Puerto Montt, Valdivia and Chiloé. To go to Chiloé we had to sail by ferry. In Chiloé we visited different places on the island, we went to a place where they cooked "curanto en hoyo", this preparation is typical of this place. We also visited different churches in this place. All these places are magically beautiful. Beautiful lakes, incredible volcanoes, lush forests. After this tour of the South of Chile, we travel to Argentina specifically to Bariloche. This place also had nice landscapes. Here we had many activites such as...

  I would like to visit Scotland. I think is a beautiful country, especially as a tourist. Because you can do different things to entertain yourself. You can visit museums, many castles, beautiful beaches or whatever you want. I knew about Scotland before, but I really liked when I started watching a series called Outlander. In this series showed many places. The protagonists toured different places  such as the Highlands, Lallybroch, Blackness castle, Doune castle and many other places. After watch this series I began to investigate about the history and culture in this country. If I have the chance to go, I would like to visit Edinburgh for the medieval architecture specifically Edinburgh Castle Also I would like to go to Highlands I think that the landscapes are wonderful.  I have enjoyed this semester writing the english blog. I think it was very useful because I keep busy every week with an english blog. Also I think that it helped me to improve and practice my english. I found it fun to read my classmate´s blogs. The advantages of writing an english blog is that it keeps me busy every week and with this I have been able to learn much more. I think that I don´t have disadvantages writing an english blog because writing every week helps me keep busy with english so I can learn more. I remember that at the beginning of the semester I was afraid of english classes because I didn´t know how I would go. In conclusion I can say that I found it productive to write every week and I would also like to add the great work of the teacher, since she explained everything very clearly. I really learned a lot this semester.
