My Career

 Since I was a child I liked music so much. I loved playing the different instruments that I had in my house. Also I loved math and I thought about studying some engineering but the love for music was stronger. 

When I was still in school I decided to study musical interpretation with mention in bassoon in Universidad de Chile. 

Before I decided to study I played bassoon five years ago and I really liked this instrument.



My experience in this career has been very satisfactory. I have learned many things over time and I have met very interesting people. Also with the teachers I have studied they have been very nice.

When I finish my career I would like to work teaching bassoon, play in big orchestras and continue learning in other countries.

My dream job

  When I was a child I liked to play with my cousins as if I was the teacher. I remember I had a small whiteboard, and from there I liked to teach them different subjects.  So for me it was like a dream to be a teacher when I grew up. I liked the idea of working with children, being able to teach new things to see the progress of each child, among other things.  Years have passed, different things caught my attention. For example music. I was introduced to the bassoon and I really loved it. I started to learn more about this wonderful instrument. And finally I decided to study a career related to music, specifically the bassoon. Although I could also relate what I study to my dream of teaching. I would love to teach bassoon in the future. And then my dream would come true.  I like all the jobs where you can see progress in people. Like teachers teaching and health professionals seeing the patient recovering. I really admire the work of doctors, nurses, kinesiologists...

My blog experience

 I have enjoyed this semester writing the english blog. I think it was very useful because I keep busy every week with an english blog. Also I think that it helped me to improve and practice my english. I found it fun to read my classmate´s blogs. The advantages of writing an english blog is that it keeps me busy every week and with this I have been able to learn much more. I think that I don´t have disadvantages writing an english blog because writing every week helps me keep busy with english so I can learn more. I remember that at the beginning of the semester I was afraid of english classes because I didn´t know how I would go. In conclusion I can say that I found it productive to write every week and I would also like to add the great work of the teacher, since she explained everything very clearly. I really learned a lot this semester.

Subject that I enjoy

 Hello everybody! Today I´m going to talk about a subject that I enjoy in my career this semester. I think that my favorite subject is "Música de cámara". I find this subject very interesting and fun to learn different things about music.  "Música de cámara" is composed for a reduced group of instruments, in comparison to orchestral music. I really liked it because in the classes he teaches me to analyze the musical parts before interpreting. I think it´s very important to know all the details and musical instructions of what you are going to perform. This semester I had the opportunity to see Mozart´s "Divertimento no. 1 KV 439b B major" for two clarinets and bassoon.  The first thing we did was to analyze the musical part in detail. Identifying degrees, phrases, dynamics and many other things. After understanding the analysis correctly we can interpret the musical part with our instruments, the teacher says that with this way it´s more easy to play with ...
